Seitan Sunday Roast

Enjoy a traditional Sunday Roast with all the trimmings!

Our Classic or Sage & Onion seitan makes the ideal main ingredient for a traditional Sunday Roast.


  • Sage & Onion or Classic Seitan
  • Potatoes for Roasting
  • Vegetables of your choice
  • Yorkshire Puddings
  • Vegetable Gravy
  • Mint or sauce of your choice


This recipe is based on cooking the seitan. Timings and method for cooking the remaining ingredients depend on what you decide to include.

  • Option One: Whether you are using a 1kg, 500g or 275g log, slice the seitan to your desired thickness and gently fry for 3-4 mins in a little oil prior to serving.
  • Option Two: Slice the seitan prior to cooking and spread the slices out on a lightly oiled baking tray and bake at Gas Mark 5 for 10 mins, turning once.
