Seitan Chyck'n


  • 1 x pack of LoveSeitan Bites
  • 1/2 bell pepper
  • 1/2 white onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 carrot (optional)
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tbsp light soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Salt and Pepper Seasoning

  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp five spice
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/3 tsp chilli powder/ chilli flakes
  • 1/3 tsp monosodium glutamate (MSG) (optional)


  • Chop the pepper and onion lengthways
  • Crush the garlic cloves and chop the chilli
  • Chop the carrot into small strips (Julienne-style)
  • If you don’t already have a salt and pepper seasoning, you can make your own by mixing the spices listed above into a bowl
  • Cook the Chyckn Bites from chilled in the oven for 10 minutes at 180
  • Meanwhile, put 1 tbsp of oil in a frying pan (a wok is ideal if you have one) on a very low heat and add 1/2 tsp salt
  • Leave to heat for 3 minutes, then add the peppers, onions, carrot, garlic and chillies
  • Turn the heat up to medium, stir the veg then add 1 tbsp of light soy and 2/3 of your mixed salt and pepper seasoning
  • Continue to stir the veg until it softens; if it begins to scorch turn the heat to low
  • When your Chyckn Bites are done, add them to your pan, add the remainder of your seasoning and 1 tbsp of dark soy
  • Mix the veg and chicken together for around 2 minutes, then serve!
