Forget the BLT, meet the SLT. All the taste and texture but without the grease, the saturated fat, the cholesterol and the obvious fact that no animals were harmed in the making of this sandwich. Loaded with Protein, Iron and Vitamin B12, as all of our seitan is, it’s the only choice you can make in today’s world when you’re looking for that quick and comforting breakfast option.

Actually you can have it anytime night or day, it’s just as good.

Take two slices of Smokey Seitan and either grill or (ideally dry) fry them for a couple of minutes. Lay them long ways on your favourite bread, add some thickly sliced tomatoes and crisp fresh lettuce, add a little ketchup or brown sauce and enjoy!
