Seitan Pasties


  • 1/2 Love Seitan classic seitan 
  • 1 white onion 
  • 1 potato 
  • 1 large carrot 
  • 1/2 swede 
  • 1 Cup peas 
  • 1 roll shortcrust pastry 
  • Gravy granules 


  • Fry your onion in a pan with a little oil.
  • Add in your chopped classic seitan, followed by your chopped swede, carrots and finally potatoes.
  • Add on your gravy granules and top with water. It needs to create a thick gravy.
  • Cook for around 15 minutes and cool.
  • Cut out large circles of pastry using a plate.
  • Spoon the seitan and veggie mix onto one side of the pastry, fold the pastry over and crimp the edges.
  • Cook in the oven for 25 minutes at 190°C or until golden brown.
