Seitan Burritos are an amazing way to not only enjoy seitan, but also to get all of the nutritional benefits from it and the fresh, possibly raw, vegetables or salad that you have with it. The options of how you serve it and what you serve it with are almost endless.
Just like the tin miners in Cornwall had their pasties, farm workers in Northern Mexico and Southern California had their Burritos. The name dates back to the late 19th century would take Burritos to work with them and leave in the sun to warm up. Before the Burrito they would have had Tacos but these weren’t as convenient to carry around.
Fast forward to 2017 and the Burrito has been rediscovered. All of the fresh ingredients are still there and chilli sauce is still a very good option, but gone are the animal products. There really is no need anymore to harm animals in order to make the most amazing, healthy Burrito.
